Oscar Neimeyer

Oscar Neimeyer Museum of Visual Arts, Curitiba, Brasil

Neimeyer designed the project when he was 95 years old
Inside the eye, notice the small metal panels hanging from the ceiling, this created an acoustically dead space for the reflection of the art within.
This is what was inside the eye.
This was a tunnel connecting the eye and the rest of the museum. The play of light created an interesting space.

Oscar Neimeyer draws a lot of his inspiration from the shape of the female body. This was one of the sketches on the wall in his portion of the museum.
