Cuidad Abierta de Ritoque
The "Open City" was started in 1970 by the Catholic University to serve as the grounds for an experimental approach to architecture envisioned by Chilean architect Alberto Cruz Covarrubia and Argentinian poet, Godfredo Lommi. Poetry and experience were fused to broaden the students understanding of the built world and the "city" was their palette for expression.
